Today I had two meetings with total strangers I met on LinkedIn. Who am I???
I don't identify as an introvert or extrovert and recently learned that I'm more of an ambivert. A what? An ambivert is able to switch one way or another depending on their mood or goals. I can chat and network with a group of people when I need to but I often recharge when I'm at home with my people.
When I was completely overwhelmed and at max capacity at work, I dreaded meeting and connecting with new people. By freeing up space and time in my life, I find myself more willing to lean into that extrovert side, even with strangers on LinkedIn! And that feels like a gift.
Anyone else an ambivert??
